What is the ADL in sanitary pads?

Position in Sanitary Pads
ADL non-woven fabric is usually located below the surface layer or on top of the absorbent core in sanitary pads. It acts as a critical intermediate layer, connecting the skin-friendly surface layer to the high-absorbency core (e.g., SAP mixed with fluff pulp).

Core Functions

Rapid Liquid Acquisition: Its porous structure quickly absorbs menstrual fluid, preventing surface pooling and reducing dampness or backflow.

Uniform Distribution: Spreads liquid across a larger area of the absorbent core to avoid localized saturation and side leakage.

Anti-Backflow Locking: Works synergistically with SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) to lock in liquid and maintain a dry surface.

Antibacterial/antistatic treatment:  Improved hygiene and comfort
